For Conner's birthday this year we had Kristian sleep over on Friday night and had a monster cake and ice cream with the family. On Saturday we had planned for Shane to take the boys out to play laser tag... I was planning to stay home with Bella, Wade and Carter. At the last minute my brother Justin and his wife Jae decided to go along, and conned my Mom into babysitting so I could go too. Funnest experience ever. There's nothing quite like wanting to shoot everyone while being terrified of walking into an ambush. It's a lot more fun than the movies make it out to be. Kristian slept over on Saturday night too, went to church with us, and Conner was given the Aaronic priesthood and ordained a Deacon on Sunday.

Yes, I wrapped three presents in a box with baby blankets to muffle the sound. I'm cool like that.

Conner, I'm so grateful that you're my kid. You are responsible, helpful, hillarious and super fun to be around. I hope it was the best day (or, uh, weekend!) ever!
