Happy Birthday to PAYTON!

Hi all! I have A LOT of catching up to do! I know I still haven't posted pics from Christmas and New Years, but there's also Payton's birthday, Chance's orchestra concert, and last night's Pinewood Derby race to blog about. Christmas seems so far in the past by now and the video-to-photos process isn't that appealing to me, so let's just gloss over it by saying it was awesome and fun, and maybe someday I'll get to that.

Since we did huge birthday parties last year we decided that this year the kids could pick one friend, have a pizza party and sleepover, and then go do something fun the next day for their birthdays. Payton picked his cousin, Kristian (of course) and chose to go swimming for his fun thing. Conner got an awesome camera for Christmas (crap, I know... I will get to the pictures of Christmas... *sigh*) that can take pictures and video underwater. You're going to LOVE this!!

Birthday waffles

After we went swimming he was tired, so he went in my room to watch TV while I finished dinner... and fell SOUND asleep. We had to nudge him gently awake so he could come blow out his birthday candles and open presents.... that's why he looks so out of it in this one!
